You will help your child thrive! Kids in our Hope Centers receive life-changing care including mentoring, educational opportunities, medical checkups, nutritious food, strong friendships and lots of fun. And MOST important…They learn about God’s everlasting love and how they can fulfill God’s unique plan for their lives. 

 Our Child Champions regularly check in with children to ensure their safety and health. If something needs addressed, our team has received training about reporting and next steps for the different situations. 

$44 a month sponsors a child. Many sponsors choose to contribute $50. That extra $6 is put into a pool of funds that enables children (often siblings of sponsored children) who are not yet sponsored to participate in many Hope Center activities. 

Yes! Many sponsors join us on church and CCM mission trips. We can introduce the sponsor and child at the Hope Center. Often, with parent/guardian approval, sponsors are able to visit the child’s home and meet the child’s family.  

 In addition, some families who travel to the DR on vacation or business have scheduled a special visit to meet their child. Because the safety of children is super-important, a sponsor may not have direct communication with the child or their family to set up these meetings. All communication/scheduling must go through our CCM team.  

When sponsors donate monthly funds to support a Dominican child, you’re not just providing finances, you’re also adding a child to your family. A child that is in need of healthy and life-giving mentoring. You and your family will have opportunities to write letters, send gifts and potentially visit your child in person. The children whose sponsors communicate regularly feel supported, loved and are more inspired to excel. They discover hope that they can overcome their hard circumstances, move onto post-high schooling and find their God-given purposes in life.
